DEPARTMENT OF METALLURGY AND MATERIAL ENGINEERING

1. History and Development:

                 Its establishment within Fırat University Faculty of Engineering was designed as the Department of Metallurgical Engineering in the 1980s and was launched in 1996 as the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Graduate education started in the 1998–1999 academic year, and students were accepted for the undergraduate program in the 1999–2000 academic year. Our department currently continues its education with 264 undergraduate, 16 master's and 3 doctoral students.1. History and Development:
